Every morning, you will be offered 3 hours of personalized lessons, tailored to your specific needs:
- Everyday conversation : improve your oral fluency.
- Professional French : develop your skills in a professional context.
- Exam preparation : prepare for Business and Certifications such as DELF or DALF.

Activities and Outings
Afternoons are dedicated to discovering the region and to relaxing. You can choose from a wide range of activities:
- Cultural Visits : Mauléon-Licharre, Navarrenx, Saint-Palais, etc.
- Sports : hiking, rafting, horse-riding, and more.
- Culinary Discovery : take part in preparing meals with teacher, discover local wines.
Whether you prefer to explore historical sites, immerse yourself in nature or indulge in sports, Maison Xarra will answer your needs.
For longer day excursions, such as hikes in the mountains (Holzarte, La Rhune) or visits to larger cities (Pau, Bayonne, Biarritz), lessons will be given on a more informal basis.
Discover a typical week at Maison Xarra:
Sunday evening (first night) : arrival, settling in and dinner with family.
Monday – Friday : 3 hours of lessons every morning, followed by shared lunch with teacher. During three afternoons, you will enjoy accompanied visits (Monday, Wednesday, Friday). The other two afternoons, you are on your own.
Every day : evening meal with family.
Your stay ends on Saturday morning, after a full week of learning and activities.
